The concert presents three major musical profiles from Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria, respectively. As a special guest, Bulgarian singer and gadulka player Gergana Dimitrova will lead the choir of the Royal Danish Academy of Music and participate as a soloist. Dimitrova is a singer in two very prominent Bulgarian groups: "Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices" and "Eva Quartet", which she has performed Worldwide.
In addition, two instrumental equilibriumists, both resident in Aarhus, are presented: Saz player and singer Orhan Özgür Turan from Turkey and Maher Mahmoud from Syria, who plays Oud and is also a soloist at the Royal Academy of Music.
The repertoire is a mix of traditional music and original compositions of the three soloists.
